LIGHTING TECHNICIAN

INDIANAPOLIS, IN

Position Summary: 

A Lighting Technician is responsible for the accurate counting, cleaning and restocking of equipment and other items within the hard goods department to ensure department inventory is restocked and prepared to be sent out for the next client orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Prep, clean, organize, and care for all lighting related equipment. 

  • Effectively learn and operate all equipment within the lighting department.

  • Communicate well with management, informing them of lost or damaged equipment.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures while performing the functions of this position.

  • Report to work on all days scheduled at or before the clock-in-time required.

  • Dress in company provided uniforms and in a professional manner befitting the position.

  • Maintain a moderate to high energy level while on the job.

  • Attend all meetings as required by management.

  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when communicating with clients.

  • Keep work area clean, organized, and neat.

  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.     

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

  • Must have basic math and counting skills.

  • Must be able to follow instructions and operational standards.

  • Lots of enthusiasm, professionalism, and commitment.

  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

  • Knowledge of Avolites lighting consoles and the Hedge Hog 4 console a plus.

  • Must have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Licenses/Certifications:​

  • Must have a valid driver's license.

  • Must have a High School Diploma, GED or 1 year related experience.

  • Must be able to pass a drug screening.
